A short post to let my good readers know, if you haven't heard already, about the latest popup in Leeds city centre - Rum Shack.
For those of you who were at Leeds Indie Food Festival you may recognise them, or you may not if you drank too many of their rum cocktails!
There a selection of rum cocktails on offer such as rum punch, daiquiris, and pina coladas in addition to my favourite rum and ginger.
For hot days, or muggy days as was the day when I visited, there is a small seating area outside with deck chairs for you to sit back and watch the world go by, rum in hand.
I sampled their rum punch and their Pina Colada, hold the rain. All great, all strong, all left me a little bit squiffy.
The Rum Shack is sandwiched between Belgrave Music Hall and Sandinista, the premises will be a rotating bar popup for the foreseeable future. Rum Shack opened this week and will be there until 5th September 2015.
They're hoping to open a more permanent residence in the future, who wouldn't want to stay in Leeds forever!?
Feeling peckish before/after the rum, pop next door to Belgrave and try the best burgers in Leeds at Patty Smith's.
